Winter Sun Catcher

This is a simple and festive little project that the little ones will love. We are counting down the days until Christmas by doing a fun project everyday. Today we made winter sun catchers.
You will need:
- Sliced Oranges
- Cranberries
- Pine Boughs
- Pine cones
- Container suitable for freezing
- Twine
Throw all of your items in your container and fill with water. Make a loop in the twine and place the ends in the water making sure at least a good three inches is in the water. Freeze overnight, hang and enjoy.
To0 bad they are all drippy because they smell fantastic! You could use different containers and get a different effect.
Thanks for the fun idea--we made these today. I couldn't bring myself to do the squeaky clean paint...just looking at the pictures kind of gave me anxiety from the mess...you're a better mom than I am!!
